Mr. Larry Howe Smith, age 81, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, January 09, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born July 05, 1938 in Coffee County to the late Ashley Smith and the late Mae Dell Howe Smith. He was a retired Truck Driver with Amoco Fabrics and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Allen Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stone Smith of Hazlehurst; three sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Cherie Smith of Hazlehurst, Tim and Sheila Smith of Lumber City, and Ashley Smith of Henderson NV; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Hartley and Carole Walker of Griffin and Bryan and Tina  Walker of Cleveland TN.; sisters Betty Hurley (Jerry) of Enterprise AL, and Virginia Estridge of Savannah; brother, Seaborn Smith (Sheila) of Alma; eleven grandchildren, Lyle Smith, Allison Smith, Ivey Grace Smith, Parker Smith, Haley Smith, Heather Smith, Alexis Walker, Sara Walker, Hannah Walker, Bella Walker and Lucas Walker; nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Waters officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
