Larry Woodcock, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia.

Mr. Woodcock was born September 11, 1946 in Tattnall County to the late Harry Woodcock and the late Jewell Perkins Woodcock. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, member of Jeff Davis Gideon's, Sales representative, and a member of the Life Time Young Farmers.

He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his grandchild, Scout Woodcock, sister, Joan Kimble and brother, Lee Woodcock.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Cindy Waters Woodcock of Hazlehurst; two sons and daughter-in-law, Trent Woodcock of Hazlehurst and Travis and Jessie Woodcock of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Woodcock and Chris Simmons of Hazlehurst; sister, Teresa Jordan (Tommy) of Gray; six grandchildren, Leighanna Woodcock, Gage Woodcock, Piper Woodcock, Saylor Woodcock, Hayden Simmons and Hunter Simmons; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Smith and Britton Smith; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 03, 2020 at 9:00am in the Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddis Kirkland officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Hillard, Reid Mobley, Raymond Padgent, Ronnie Jenkins and Lee Bass.
