Mr. Lester Lee Post, age 88, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Dublin. Mr. Post was born February 03, 1929 in Erie PA to the late Arthur Post and the late Fern Chesley Post. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Korea, retired Farmer and member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elise Hand Post and great-grandchild, Sanders Marshall Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Pattie and Randy McLeod of Hazlehurst and Sabrina and Robert Miller of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Caroline Post of Waynesboro; two sisters, Beatrice Odell of Ripley, NY and Shirley Podlasck of Erie, PA; brother, Larry Post of Stockton NY; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00am at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Post will lie in state one hour prior to service.
