Mrs. Lillie Johnston Yawn, age 95, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation in Glennville.

Mrs. Yawn was born April 06, 1925 in Tattnall County to the late Ruben Johnston and the late Frances Rolls Johnston.

She was employed with Hazlehurst Manufacturing Company for many years and a member of Philadelphia Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Comer A. Yawn and sons, Claybern Yawn and Bobby Yawn.

Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Wannell Yawn of Douglas, Mike and Melcene Yawn of Waynesville, Gary and Shirley Yawn of Glennville, Tim and Judy Yawn of Hazlehurst and Carroll and Donna Yawn of Chickamauga; daughter, Wylene Yawn Hale of Irmo, South Carolina; twenty two grandchildren, forty five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 11:00am in the Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery with Mr. Jimmie Ryles officiating.
