Mrs. Linda Yawn O'Neil, age 72, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. O'Neil was born May 22, 1944 in Bacon County to the late John Gideon Yawn and the late Ruby Idell Lewis Yawn. She was retired from Amercord Wire Plant and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Jimmy Yawn and Donald Yawn. Survivors include her husband, Frank O'Neil of Hazlehurst; three daughters, Tammy (Bruce) Dixon of Higgston, Pam (John) Taylor of Hazlehurst and Patty (Brent) Lasseter of Alma; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel (John) Worth of Hazlehurst; brother, Wilbur (Wynell) Yawn of Roanoke, AL; two sisters-in-law, Helen Yawn of Hazlehurst and Barbara Yawn of LaGrange; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 01, 2016 at 2:00pm in Williamson-McCormick Cemetery.
