Miss Makenzie Kaelyn Cothran, age 12, of Denton, passed away Friday evening from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Makenzie was born in Wayne County, and lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County. She attended Jeff Davis Middle School, and attended Burkett Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sonni Horn.
