Maria Emiliana Padilla, age 93, of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2023.

Mrs. Padilla was born in El Toro, Mexico, to the late Mr. Antonia Padilla and Mrs. Maria Dejesus Garcia. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. Ms. Padilla lived life to the fullest and loved her family and she was always waiting on her birthday, she would jokingly say to her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Guadalupe Espinoza of Florida, sons, Jose Luis Lira and Aden Padilla both of Florida, and brother, Custodio Padilla of California, several grand, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren also survive.

Services for Mr. Padilla will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Serving as pall bearers will be Christian Negrete, Jose Luis Lira, Jose Luis Lira Jr., Jose Barrera, Oscar Negrete, Juan Espinoa.
