Mrs. Martha Harper Pridgen, age 89, of Hazlehurst, died Monday April 13, 2020 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Pridgen was born July 05, 1930 in Coffee County to the late Jack Harper and the late Edna Dykes Harper.

She was a Homemaker and member of Macedonia Church of God. She is preceded in death by her son, Sam Smith and grandson, Jeremy Smith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and          Jerry Merritt of Snipesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Jr. and Linda Smith of Snipesville, Billy Smith of Snipesville and Jeff and Karen Vann of Snipesville; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 2:00pm at Denton Cemetery with Rev. Van McCall officiating.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Martha Harper Pridgen, age 89, of Hazlehurst.
