Mr. Marvin Osburn, age 79, of Hazlehurst, passed away Saturday, August 03, 2019 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Mr. Osburn was born March 31, 1940 in Jeff Davis County to the late Horace Osburn and the late Lois Shell Osburn. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Oak View Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Euldine Smith, Marlene Lee and Winfred Osburn.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Griffin Osburn of Hazlehurst; daughter, Pamela Justice (Paul) of Perry; son, Paul Osburn, Sr. of Byron; grandchildren, Brandon Cone, Jesse Cone, Alexis Cone, Paul Osburn Jr., and Thomas Osburn; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lorene Osburn Pierce of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at 11:00 am at Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. David Barber and Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Osburn will lie in state one hour prior to service time.
