Mary Dyal Medders, age 60, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday January 29, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Medders was born June 21, 1959 in Duval County to the late Lester Dyal and the late Ella Wheeler Dyal. She was a Manager with Walmart and is preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy Dyal, B.J. Hughes, Johnny Dyal, Roger Dyal and Johnny Hughes.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Medders of Hazlehurst; April McDonald of Hazlehurst; two sons, Michael Ellis of Hazlehurst and Zackay Medders of Hazlehurst; sisters, Pearl Newham of Hazlehurst, Sandra Taylor of Hazlehurst, Deborah Garrett of Helena, Anita Silas of Hazlehurst; brothers, J.L. Dyal  of Alabama and Tony Hughes of Lumber City; fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 01, 2020 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 9:30 and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Joe Chancey and Donna Mullins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
