Mary Floyd Thompson, age 76, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Lumber City Nursing and Rehab Center under the care of Southern Care Hospice. Mrs. Thompson was born October 10, 1936 in Jeff Davis County to the late Cullen Floyd and the late Lillian Dyal Floyd. She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Amazing Grace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Thompson, a son, Ricky Thompson, Sister, Ollie Mae Champion, Brother, Sonny Floyd, Grandchildren, Mark Braddy, Christina Thompson and Roxanne Thompson. Survivors include Three Daughters, Susie (Randy) Braddy of Alma, Peggy Burkett and Gale T. (David) Sexton all of Hazlehurst; Sons, A.C.
