Mr. Michael "Mike" Anthony Sellers, age 59, of Lumber City, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his home.

Mike was born on September 6, 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida to Juanice and Mary Griffin Sellers and moved to Hazlehurst in his adolescent years. He was a proud veteran of The United States Navy where he served for 8 years. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and had a love for guns. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his John Deere tractor. He loved his family dearly, and will be sorely missed by his dog, Poochie Bear, and his cat, Tubby.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Juanice Sellers; his uncles, Winnon Griffin and Joe Faircloth; and his cousin, Jerome Griffin.

His family includes his wife, Rhonda Sellers of Lumber City; his mother, Mary Griffin Sellers of Hazlehurst; his sons, Harrison Pearson (Nicole) of Hazlehurst, and Donovan Dickey (Stephanie) of Tampa, FL; his daughters, Meredith Ryals (Travis) of Asheville, NC, and Mika Brockington (Colt) of Jesup; his brother, Juanice Sellers, Jr. (Cindy) of Hazlehurst; his sister, Gayle Carter (David) of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Trey, Mikiah, Zyier, Kenley, and Eliana; his great-grandchild, Zayden; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. with brother Harrison Pearson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Liver Foundation, PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052, or to a church of your choice.
