Mickey Beecher, age 48, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. Mr. Beecher was born November 26,1970 in Jeff Davis County. He was employed with Beecher's Land Clearing and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilton Beecher. Survivors include his daughter, Amber Beecher of Hazlehurst; his Mother, Emily Hurley Beecher of Hazlehurst; brother, Lloyd Beecher of Baxley; grandson, Will Wooten of Hazlehurst; several cousins also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00pm at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Deek Dubberly and Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment will follow in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Beecher will lie in state one hour prior to service.
