Mrs. Mildred Hutto Herrington, age 89, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Greenwood Place in Wrightsville, Ga. Mrs. Herrington was born September 15, 1926 in Jeff Davis County to the late George Hutto and the late Gertrude Rachel Harrell. She was retired from Jeff Davis County Health Department and was a member of Satilla Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Grover Herrington, Sisters, Caroline DeBardelahen and Jordie Igou and Brother, Bo Hutto. Survivors include her Son and Daughter-in-Law, G.C. and Joan Herrington of Hazlehurst; Granddaughter, Rena and Russell Beasley of Hazlehurst; Grandson, Mitch and Brandy Herrington of Baxley; Six Great-Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00am at Satilla Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Herrington will lie in state one hour prior to service. The family may be contacted at the residence, 134 Spell Road, Hazlehurst.
