Mrs. Mildred Shumans Sellers, age 94, of Hazlehurst, went to meet her Lord and Savior, her Husband and Son, May 01, 2017 while staying at the Lumber City Nursing Home. Mrs. Sellers was born November 24, 1922 in Jeff Davis County to the late Martin Shumans and the late Lula Mae Johnson Shumans. She was part owner and operator of Sellers and Sons Greenhouses and member of Graham Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Avery Sellers and son, Avery Martin Sellers. Survivors include her son, Myron Sellers of Hazlehurst; sister, Vicky Shumans Vickers; granddaughter, Sherry Harrell of Thomasville; grandson, Steven Sellers of Hazlehurst; six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 04, 2017 at 4:00pm at Graham United Methodist Church with Rev. Ashley Tyree officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sellers will lie in state one hour prior to service. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Shuman Sellers, age 94, of Hazlehurst.
