Mr. Monroe Hatton, age 77, of Denton, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020.

Mr. Hatton was born July 12, 1942 in Hazlehurst, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mathis Monroe Hatton and Donna Mae Powell Hatton and a son, Brian Kevin Hatton. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war having served over 13 years with the United States Army. He was a member of Macedonia Church of God and was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Melcene Hatton of Denton, a son, Stuart (Selena) Hatton of Denton, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
