Mrs. Billie Lamb, age 93, of Lumber City, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Lumber City Nursing Home. Mrs. Lamb was born August 30, 1922 in Genoa Idaho to the late George W. McCain and the late Iva Wilson McCain. She was a Homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church in Appling County. Survivors include her Daughter, Ethel Smith of Pell City, Alabama; Son, Dwight Long of Atlanta; Ten Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Oakland Baptist Church, Visitation starting at 1:00pm and Funeral Services at 2:00pm with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Appling County. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Billie Lamb, age 93, of Lumber City.
