Ms. Myrle Creamer Brown, age 82, of Hazlehurst passed away February 05, 2021 at Phoebe Hospital in Albany.

Ms. Brown was born August 12, 1938 in Jeff Davis County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Creamer and Clyde Herndon Creamer, husband, Raymond Brown, daughter, Malissa Dupree, brother, James Creamer and great-grandson, Alex Leon Hinnant. Ms. Brown loved sewing, cooking and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ms. Brown was a retired manager with Wal-Mart where she won several awards in retail. She was a member of the Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church and had also served as secretary and a Sunday school teacher at Graham Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Dupree (Glen) of Hazlehurst; sister, Myrtle Bryant of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren, Matthew Bragg, Megan Blanton (Jesse), Alex Hinnant (Mara Rivers), Malorie Dupree and Mackenzie Dupree; three grandchildren, Makaylynn Blanton, Alexis Hinnant and Alissa Hinnant; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, February 08, 2021 at 2:00pm at Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson officiating.
