Obituary

Nina Ruth Coleman Pope, age 84, of Lumber City, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Pope was born July 25, 1929 in Wheeler County to the late James Coleman and the late Lollie Cox Coleman. She was one of Eleven Siblings, a faithful member of the Lumber City United Methodist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class, loved to cook for her family and was loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Pope and her daughter, Nina Livingston. Survivors include Son and Daughter-In-Law, James H. (Dorothy) Pope Jr. of Hazlehurst; Son-In-Law, Larry Livingston of Lumber City; Four Grandchildren, Greg Livingston, Bryan Livingston, Anthony Pope and Tracey Pope; Five Great-Grandchildren, Keri Livingston, Jesse Livingston, Noah Livingston, Gracie Livingston and Lindsay Allday; Brother, Howard Coleman of Stark FL. and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Lumber City United Methodist Church at 11:00am with Rev. Glenn Hancock and Michael Creamer officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence, 3160 Golden Isles Hwy., Lumber City. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Nina Ruth Coleman Pope, age 84, of Lumber City.
