Ms. Nita Jane Wilkinson, age 76, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, September 27, 2021 at her residence.

Ms. Wilkinson was born in Oklahoma and was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Verlon Robinson and Marie Nell Carpenter Robinson.

Ms. Wilkinson loved fishing, hunting, and cooking. She was a great caregiver, adopting four small children, at an early age, she gave them all the love and care they needed. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Deborah Wilkinson of Hazlehurst; adopted sons, Daltin Wilkinson, Stephen Wilkinson and Gregory Wilkinson all of Hazlehurst; adopted daughter, Stephanie Wilkinson of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren, Sean Wilkinson, Jerrit Wilkinson and Savannah Wilkinson; and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held at a later time.

Wainright Parlor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
