Patia Lane Clark Wooten, age 90, of Hazlehurst died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. Wooten was born August 23, 1922 in Portal to the late Algerine R. Clark, Sr. and the late Mary Jane Atwood Clark and was the widow of the late Benjamin Harvey Wooten, Sr. She was a Home Demonstration Agent for the State of Georgia and a member of the Hazlehurst First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Benjamin Harvey Wooten, Jr. of Reidsville and Lane B. Wooten of Valdosta. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Sack officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, beginning at Noon until 2:00 at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
