Paul Thomas Garrett, age 67, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Garrett was born April 20, 1951 in Cobb County. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Farmer's Furniture and Hazlehurst Mills. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Garrett Jr. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hand Garrett of Hazlehurst; daughter, Tera Holliday (Darrell) of Johns Creek; son, Michael Garrett (Tonia) of Hazlehurst; two step-sons, Ronald Justin Quinn (Misty) of Baxley and Michael Joshua Hughes (Suzanne) of Hazlehurst; mother, Mammie Wylene Gravley; stepmother, Emma Lou Garrett of Dublin; two sisters, Cathy Fordham of Dublin and Deborah Thigpen (Gordon) of Dublin; grandchildren, Jay Williams, Jarrett Williams, Lauren Ashley Garrett, Grant Garrett, William Garrett, Gabriel Garrett, Tyler Hughes, Heaven Quinn, Ryleigh Jackson, Dwayne Hall, Destiny Hall, and Brittany Floyd; several nieces and nephews also survived. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00am at First Alliance Church with Rev. J. Barry Owens and Family officiating.
