Mr. Pearlie Dalton Dykes, age 85, of Hazlehurst died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Dykes was a native of Bacon County, and resided in Jeff Davis County most of his life.  He was the son of the late Dalton Henry Dykes and Myrtis Hutcheson Dykes, and was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.  Mr. Dykes was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Elizabeth Elder Dykes.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Sherrie Dykes of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Eric Dykes, and Emily Dykes; Best friend, Bobby Robinson.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Yawn, and the Rev. Robert Wigley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
