Mr. Phillip Ray Tysinger, age 71, of Lumber City, died Saturday, March 09, 2019 in Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Tysinger was born July 26, 1947 in Whiteville, N.C. to the late Tony and Irene King Tysinger. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, landscaper and member of the Lumber City Methodist Church. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Sheila Tysinger of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; friend, Sharon Gordon of Baxley; six grandchildren, Lindzey Tysinger, Christopher Tysinger, Kaitlyn Tysinger, Ryleigh Tysinger, Hunter Ward, and Nathan Ward. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2:00pm at Lumber City United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at 3:00pm after the service, in the Social Hall of Lumber City United Methodist Church.
