Mr. Phillip Eugene Walters, age 77, of Lumber City, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Lumber City Nursing Home.

Mr. Walters was born February 17, 1944 in Jeff Davis County to the late Roy Eugene Walters and the late Nannie Elizabeth     Causee Walters. He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of the Lumber City Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Brewer Walters of Lumber City; Daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Chris Hughes of Lumber City; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Belinda Walters of Lumber City; brother, Steve Walters (Audrey) of Lumber City; three grandchildren, Logan Hughes, Gracey Hughes and Brook Walters;  one great-grandson, Paxton Walker; nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lumber City Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Ashley Tyree and Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating.

Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
