Mr. Ralph Harris Jr., age 72, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mr. Harris was born October 23, 1944 in Dooley County to the late Ralph Lee Harris, Sr. and the late Mary Ola Tyndal Harris. He was retired from Thompson Timber and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Georgetta Harris of Hazlehurst; Three Daughters and Son-in-Laws, Carolyn and Billy Yawn of Hazlehurst, Tonya and Anthony Tillman of Surrency and Connie and Edwin Williams of Hazlehurst; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Ronnie and Mandy Harris of Vidalia; Sister, Pat (Charles) Mincey of Lumber City; Grandchildren, Kylie Leggett, Logan McNeal, Shelby Yawn, Caitlin Yawn, Lini McNeal, Ethan Chambers, Ansley Chambers, Lindsey Griswald, Christy Edge, Ashley Simmons; Nine Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Visitation starting at 3:00pm and Funeral Service to follow at 4:00pm with Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Family can be contacted at the residence, 18 Currie Street, Hazlehurst.
