Mr. Randy Larry Sears, age 65, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, September 24, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Sears was born May 03, 1958 in Telfair County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Carlous Sears and Lole Bryan Sears, wife, Chanda Sellers Sears, sister, Edna Marie Williams, brother, Harvey Sears Jr and sister-in-law, Sandy Sears.

Randy loved the outdoors, he was a full-time gardener, above average fisherman, hunter and a longtime truck driver. He never met a stranger, was very friendly and loved to talk to everyone.

He loved his family and friends, was a member of Oakland Baptist Church, he loved his church and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his son, Bryan Sears and step-son, Bently Stewart; daughter, Vanessa Sears; step-daughters, Chelsey Davis Carter and Sierra Latham; brothers, James Austin Sears (Bonnie), Osborn Rusty Sears (Cindy Woodcock) and Gregory Martin Sears; sister, Della Ann Kitchens; mother-in-law, Helen Stewart; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10:00AM at Oakland Baptist Church.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating.
