Mr. Raymond McDaniel, age 82, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. Mr. McDaniel was born January 29, 1936 in Jeff Davis County to the late Herman McDaniel and the late Annie Harrell McDaniel. He was retired from Amercord and member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Winge McDaniel of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Larry Griffin of Hazlehurst; two sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lynette McDaniel of Hazlehurst and Norris McDaniel of Hazlehurst; three brothers, Roy Wildes, Ronald Wildes and Russell Wildes all of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Gardner and Mr. Billy Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence, 155 Leon A. Wildes Road, Hazlehurst.
