Mrs. Rena Miles, age 53, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, August 03, 2021at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Miles was born July 09, 1968 in Jeff Davis County.

She is preceded in death by her father, Orman Holt and mother, Patsy Hughes Holt. She loved Arts and crafts, spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, loved sewing and baking cakes.

She was employed with Jeff Davis County Board of Education as a preschool     teacher and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Miles of Hazlehurst; two sons, Tyler (Heather) Miles of Hazlehurst and Grant (Brooke) Miles of Hazlehurst; brother, John Holt of Ocilla; three sisters, Stephanie Walker (George) of Ocilla, Sherry Holt of Fitzgerald and Heather Holt of Fitzgerald; two grandchildren, Allie Catherine Miles and Carver Milton Miles; nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 06, 2021 at Oakland Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 4:00pm and funeral services will follow at 5:00pm with Rev. Royce Hulett, Rev. Joey Andrews and Rev. Calvin Hayes.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

All Pre-K Teachers and Paraprofessionals will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Miles, Justin Miles, Kevin Hughes, Kevin Weitman, Kyle Miles and Tyce Miles, Darren Steverson and Judson Steverson.

The  Miles family and Wainright Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow the social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
