Mrs. Rhonda Mosley Johnson, age 49, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born September 29, 1971 in Denver Colorado and had lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Danny Mosley and Judy Tanner Hall, and brother, Rodney Mosley.

Mrs. Mosley worked in many areas of Jeff Davis County she work with the Department of Family and Children Services, she also was a Beautician but she really enjoyed being employed with Jeff Davis County Board of Education and having her own classroom and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, James Johnson of Hazlehurst; sons, Riley Shuler of Hazlehurst and Tanner Johnson of Hazlehurst; daughter, Morgan Johnson McKinzie (Austin) of K-ville; step-dad, B.H. Hall of Hazlehurst; step-mon, Pete Mosley of Hazlehurst;  step-brothers, Josh Taylor of Hazlehurst and Stacy Hall of Baxley; step-sister, Jennifer Walls Britton of Augusta; two grandchildren, Layla Jane McKenzie and Beckett Lane McKinzie.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Johnson family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to wear a mask and follow the social distancing set by our local health district and the CDC.
