Richard Selph, age 62, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Selph was born April 24, 1956 in Jeff Davis County to the late William Herman Selph and the late Vesper Owens Selph. He was retired and a member of Hazlehurst Church of God. He is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Selph. Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Creamer (Johnny) of Hazlehurst; brothers, James D. Selph (Judy) of Mt Vernon and Jimmy L. Selph (Sylvia) of Hazlehurst; special niece, Patricia Boone (Raymond) of Hazlehurst. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 01, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. James Evans and Rev. Josh Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. The family can be reached at the residence of Raymond and Patricia Selph Boone, 59 Walton Way, Hazlehurst.
