Ricky Hughes, age 50, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, May 01, 2017 at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah. Mr. Hughes was born May 22, 1966 in Telfair County but had lived most of his life in Jeff Davis County and was a member of The Church of God. Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Hall of Baxley; sisters, Michelle Moore of Waycross and Prissy Waters of Hazlehurst; mother, Betty Jean Goodman of Lumber City; father, Earl Hughes of Hazlehurst; two grandchildren, Carmon Hall and Caprice Hall, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survived. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 05, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Hal Jeffcoat and Rev. Ronnie Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Ricky Hughes, age 50, of Hazlehurst.
