Robbie Branch, age 84, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Branch was born July 25, 1929 in Jeff Davis County to the late John Branch and the late Lyndal Truett Branch. He was retired from Amoco Fabric & Fibers Company after many years of service. He was a farmer, avid fisherman, member of the Masonic Lodge #283 and First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Branch of Hazlehurst; Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Debra (Ronnie) Bragdon of Townsend and Sonja Branch (Alan) Zelinger of St. Simons; Sons and Daughters-In-Law, Danny (Stacie) Branch of Odum and Kim (Connie) Branch of Hazlehurst; Brother, Jack Branch of Hazlehurst; Grandchildren; Justin Branch, Jesse Branch, Kinslee Branch, Courtney Branch, Cliff Bragdon and Robin Wilcox; Great-Grandchildren, Chasity Wilcox, Taylor Wilcox, Hunter Wilcox and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Waters officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Mr. Branch will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. The family may be contacted at the residence, 263 Kirkland Still Road, Hazlehurst.
