Robert E. Oglesby, age 78 of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Shady Acres Health & Rehab Facility in Douglas. Mr. Oglesby was born August 7, 1935 in Register Georgia to the late Robert Roscoe Oglesby and the late Eunice Hendrix Oglesby. He was a Veteran serving in the United States Army and retired from Certain Teed Corp as the director of Purchasing and Transportation. Survivors include his wife, Judy Sowell Oglesby of Hazlehurst; Three Daughters, Julie Schambach of Wilmington Island, Ga.; Margie A. Waina of Limerick, Pa. and Bella Grace Oglesby of Hazlehurst; Son, Robert Jason Oglesby of Soperton. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00am at Southside Baptist Church with Michael Creamer officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah on Wednesday @ 10:00am. The family may be contacted at the residence, 188 N.
