Mr. Roy Taylor, age 77, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, May 07, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born May 14, 1939 in Jeff Davis County to the late Cousel Taylor and the late Birdie Herrington Taylor. He was retired from Alco, Hazlehurst Housing Authority and is preceded in death by his wife, Reva Jo Taylor. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Foskey and Jennifer Griffin of Hazlehurst; son, Joseph Gay of Hazlehurst; brothers, Carol Taylor of Hazlehurst and Earl and Miriam Taylor of Alma; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 09, 2017 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Williams officiating, visitation will begin at 3:30-4:30pm and Funeral Services to follow at 4:30. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
