Ruby Floyd Mason, age78, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, February 01, 2015 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. Mason was born January 30, 1937 in Coffee County to the late Perry Floyd and the late Annie Collins Floyd. She was a Homemaker and member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mason. Survivors include two Daughters and Son-in-Law, Jan and Steve Casey of Athens and Vickie Mason of Vidalia; Four Grandchildren, Lyndsay Wimberly of Hazlehurst, Matt (Chris) Simpson of Hazlehurst, Ashlee (Wesley) Bruce of Winder and Andrew Casey of Athens; Five Great-Grandchildren, Connor Bruce, Emma Bruce, Caitelynn Bruce, Karly Wimberly and Logan Wimberly; Sister, Carlene Gourley of Hazlehurst; Three Brothers, Grant Floyd of Hazlehurst, Robert (Frances) Floyd of Savannah and Billy Floyd of Lyons; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 03, 2015 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Dewitt Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Ruby Floyd Mason, age 78 of Hazlehurst.
