Funeral services for Ryder Samuel Herndon, infant son of Cody and Kayla Davenport Herndon, will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 4:00pm at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Survivors other than parents are Maternal Grandparents, Chris and Michelle Davenport of Hazlehurst; Paternal Grandparents, Duane and Deborah Herndon of Hazlehurst; Maternal Great-Grandparents, Wiley and Bennie Stapleton of Lumber City and Larry and Lynda Davenport of Hazlehurst; Paternal Great-Grandparents, S.W. and JoAnn Herndon of Hazlehurst and Norma Jean Brantley of Hazlehurst; several aunts and uncles also survive. Ryder is preceded in death by his Paternal Great-Granddad, Billy Brantley. Ryder will be placed in the church at 3:00pm Friday and services to be held at 4:00pm. Wainright-Parlor is in charge of all arrangements for Ryder Samuel Herndon, infant son of Cody and Kayla Herndon.
