Sarah Ann Googe Brewer, age 72, of Lumber City, died Wednesday, February 07, 2018 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mrs. Brewer was born January 06, 1946 in Telfair County to the late Linwood Googe and the late Evelyn Farmer Googe. She was a Homemaker and member of Lumber City Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Brewer. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra (Freddie) Pekarek of Jacksonville, FL, Shirl (Donnie) Hamilton of Lumber City and Karen Brewer of Lumber City; son, Michael (Jamie) Brewer of Lumber City; sister, Charlie Mae Williams of Lumber City; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 09, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. The family may be contacted at the residence of daughter, Shirl Hamilton, 3256 East River Road, Lumber City.
