Ms. Scarlett Clements Conner, age 72, of Uvalda, died Friday, July 15, 2022 in Atrium Health Navicent in Macon.

Ms. Conner was born September 12, 1949 in Jeff Davis County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walton Calvin Clements and Florence Mae Durden Clements, brothers, Quinton Bailey, Charles Clements, Larry Clements, sister, Elaine Bailey Cox and brother-in-law, George (Bo) Hughes.

Mrs. Scarlett was retired from Amercord and Tattnall County Health Dept as their Office Manager.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, taking care of and spending time with her family.

She had a gentle spirit, so loving and kind, humble and compassionate and will be sadly missed by her family.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Ovid Conner of Uvalda, son, Dillon Conner of Uvalda; step-daughters, Tressie Wiggins Thompson (James) of Cedar Crossing and Denice Phillips (Terrell) Douglas; brother, Rhett Clements (Janet) of Clarksville Tenn.; sisters, Faye Hughes of Dothan Ala. And Lavera Clements White of Hazlehurst; four grandchildren, Conner Wiggins, Lindsey Wiggins, Trent Phillips and Lora Beth Phillips; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00am in the Conner Family Cemetery in Uvalda with Scarlett's sister, Lavera White officiating.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
