Mrs. Sheila Medders, age 46, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Mrs. Medders was born March 28, 1971 in Chatham County but had resided most of her life in Jeff Davis County. She was a Homemaker and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Rackley. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Medders of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Kensley Medders Felton of VA and Kenan Roberts of Hazlehurst; mother and step-father, Wynell and Harry Yawn of Hazlehurst; three sisters, Dee Sellers of Hazlehurst, Sonya Crosby of Hazlehurst and Tonya Miles of Hazlehurst. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. The family can be contacted at the residence of Sonya and Clay Crosby, 19 Park Lane, Hazlehurst.
