Sherrie Herrington Davis, age 60 of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023.

Mrs. Davis was born to the late Mr. Cosby Herrington and Mrs. Margaret Dykes Herrington. She loved life and enjoyed many hobbies such as photography and decorating. She was very quiet, intelligent, and talented. She was a giving person, who loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She loved cooking, photography and especially her two boys, Nick and Nate and her grandson Colton. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Walter and Evie Dykes, maternal grandparents, Fred and Lucille Hutchinson. H

Mrs. Davis is survived by her sons, Nicklous Davis (Sierra), Nate Davis, sister, Debbie Hartley (Ted), grandchild, Colton Davis, nieces, Carrie Poole, Misty Whitehead, Jessica Rewis, Kobey Hartley, nephews, Ricky Hartley, Clay Hartley, Ryan Herrington, and sister-in-law, Debra Herrington.

James Horton, Wayne Thorton, Blake Adams, Tim Poole, Kieth Hutchinson, and Randy Rentz will serve as pall bearers.

Services for Mrs. Davis will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in the chapel of Wainright- Parlor beginning at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 1, 2023, from 6 until 8 at Wainright -Parlor. Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson will officiate.
