Shirley Ann Brewer, age 64, of Lumber City, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Navicent Medical Center in Macon. Mrs. Brewer was born March 21, 1952 in Telfair County to the late James Harris Whalen and the late Vera Wiley Whalen. She was a Homemaker and member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lamar Brewer and sisters, Helen Williams, Barbara Williams and brother, James Whalen. Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Ann Bryant of Lumber City, Sandra Denise Dyal of Lumber City and Teresa (Scott) Poole of McRae; Step-Children, Misty (Bruce) Cothern, Sons, Mark (Virginia) Rainey, and Mack (Jennifer) Rainey; Grandchildren, Zack Hughes, Chris Hatton, Nikki (Chris) Morrison, Brittany Poole, Misty (Jake) Spires, Alan Bryant, Ramsey Poole, and Axel Poole, Christine Smith, Heavenlee Smith; Great-Grandchildren, Blayton Hughes, Alexia Hughes, Kase Hatton and Kimber Morrison, Zoey Ann and Arabella; sister, Betty Claxton of Swainsboro; several nieces and nephews also survived and Special Friend, George Rainey. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Merle Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Shelton's Chapel Cemetery in Telfair County. The family can be contacted at the T.C. Poole residence, 25 Almond Lane, McRae. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Shirley Ann Brewer, age 64, of Lumber City.
