Shirley Ann Walls Howard, age 68, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, March 05, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Walls was born December 16, 1948 in Jeff Davis County to the late Charlie Walls and the late Florence Haire Walls. She was a Homemaker and member of Graham Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a brother, Barney Walls. Survivors include her husband, James Howard of Hazlehurst; daughters, Lisa Wooten, Sonja Nipper and Cheree (Wally) Barnard all of Hazlehurst; Granddaughters, Kayla Nipper, Brianna Nipper and Marisa Howard all of Hazlehurst; sisters, Marylene Suess and Mary L. Orvin both of Albany; brothers, Billy Walls of Hazlehurst, Henry Walls of Sylvester and Donnie Walls of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Toler and Rev. Wayne DeVaul officiating. Interment will follow in the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence, 28 Sweetgum Lane, Hazlehurst.
