Susan Garrett Powell, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, March 01, 2020 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Powell was born August 31, 1946 in West Palm Beach Florida to the late Roger Garrett and the late Essie Annie Cooner Garrett. She was a House wife and was preceded in death by her husband, David Powell.

Survivors include two daughters, Kristy Powell of North Carolina and Valerie Saunders of West Virginia; son David T. Powell of Hazlehurst; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 06, 2020 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Jeffery Spell officiating.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements of Susan Garrett Powell, age 73, of Hazlehurst.
