Mrs. Teresa Darlene Taylor, age 56, of Lumber City, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Taylor was born December 18, 1959 in Appling County. She was an LPN and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Olen Lamb and Velma Louise Casteel Lamb and sister, Diane Lamb. Survivors include her Husband, Billy Thigpen of Lumber City; Two Daughters, Ashley Wilson of Lumber City and Savannah Lamb of Lumber City; Five Sisters, Carolyn (Jimmy) Kirby of Savannah, Dawn (Sammy) Sikes of Rome, Patricia Wiggins of Surrency, Sarah (Charles) Kirkland of Jesup and Gladys(Wendell) Mullis of Hazlehurst; Brother, Rodney Crews of Rome; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 08, 2016, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Visitation from 2:00-4:00pm and Memorial Service starting at 4:00pm with Rev. Brian Brazzell and Rev. Wayne Bennett officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence, 1425 St. Paul Church Road, Lumber City.
