Graveside funeral services for Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Aaron Halsel, age 67, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.

Mr. Halsel was born February 7,1953 in Antlers, Oklahoma; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Clyde Halsel and Betty Walters Selvera, a brother, James Halsel, a sister, Clyrene Airheart, his mother-in-law, Marie Forrest Abbott and two brothers-in-law, Halden Ogilvie and Tommy Forrest. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from General Electric as a Nuclear Maintenance worker. Mr. Halsel passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Halsel, a son, Thomas Jason Halsel both of Hazlehurst, two daughters, Heather Lazarski of Racine, Wisconsin and Amy Ford of Graham, Texas, a brother, Joel Selvera of Colorado City, Texas, two sisters, Angie Selvera of Dallas, Texas and Linda melton of Las Vegas, Nevada, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
