Thomas M. Stone, age 74, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Stone was born September 12, 1942 in Jeff Davis County to the late Tommie B. Stone and the late Beatrice Bryant Stone. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict, retired from Hazlehurst Mills and member of Bridgeford Church of God. He is preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Stone. Survivors include his Sisters and Brothers-in-Law, Barbara and Don Hall of Baxley and Denise and Tony Darley of Hazlehurst; Brother, Billy and Linda Stone of Texas; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation starting at 1:00-2:00pm and Funeral Services to follow with Rev. Roger Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery. The family can be contacted at the residence of Denise and Tony Darley, 404 Pat Dixon Road, Hazlehurst.
