Tony Tucker, age 51, of Lumber City, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Tucker was born February 26, 1966 in Coffee County but had resided most of his life in Jeff Davis County. He was retired self-employed construction worker and a member of Elbethel Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherri Tucker of Lumber City; step-daughters, Lenora Ursrey of Lumber City and Jewel Ursrey of Lumber City; son, Dustin Johnson of Gray, step-sons, James Watkin of Nashville Tenn., Michael Ursrey of Statesboro and Grant Ursrey of Lumber City; Mother and Father, Bonnie and Bobby Tucker of Hazlehurst; sister, Rhonda Herndon of Hazlehurst; brother, Chris Branch of McRae-Helena; three step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery at 2:00pm with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Family may be contacted at the residence of his father, Bobby Tucker, 194 Joe Hester Road, Hazlehurst.
