Tonya Renea Rentz, age 35, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her residence. Tonya was born July 29, 1979 in Jeff Davis County. She was a Homemaker and a member of Zoar Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her Brothers, Colby Rentz and Tracy Rentz. Survivors include Two Daughters, Michelle Rentz and Sharie Shuemake both of Hazlehurst; Parents, Mickey and Sherry Rentz of Hazlehurst; Special Friend, James Johnson of Hazlehurst; Maternal Grandparents, Jessie and Andrew McMahon of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00pm at Zoar Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Wilcox and Mr. Chris Nails officiating. Interment will follow in Zoar Cemetery. Tonya will be placed in church to lie in state one hour prior to services.
