Mr. Troy Tapley, age 70, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at his residence on Graham/Zoar Hwy., Baxley.

Mr. Tapley was born December 02, 1948 in Jeff Davis County to the late John Tapley and the late Juanita Riner Tapley.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during Viet Nam, he was a painter and member of Little Flock Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Johnnie Belle Findley, Georgia Nell Ray, and Sammy Tapley.

Survivors include his wife, Toni Davenport Tapley of Baxley; three sons, Johnny (Rooster) Tapley of Hazlehurst, Troy Elbert Tapley Jr. of Hazlehurst and Seth Tapley of Baxley; sisters, Francis Floyd, Atha Richert, and Becky Stewart; brothers, Kenneth Tapley, Aubrey Tapley and Tony Tapley; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00-1:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with military honors, Rev. David Miller will officiate.
